The Epson DS 7500 is a high-performance document scanner designed for professional use in offices and businesses. It features a high-speed, automatic document feeder that can handle up to 100 sheets of paper at a time, and can scan both sides of a document in a single pass.
Problem
This particular Epson DS 7500 scanner wasn’t working. Despite being a brand-new machine, the customer had not been able to use it and suspected foul play by the seller. After further investigation, it was determined that the issue was related more to the network than the device itself.
How we fixed it
Upon investigation, it was clear that the Epson DS 7500 scanner required setup and reconfiguration on the network. We proceeded to update the firmware and reset the network adapter, which quickly resolved the issue and made the device available on the network. Additionally, we set up the scanner to send scanned documents to a server-shared folder. With these steps taken, the scanner was up and running, ready to provide efficient and reliable scanning for the customer.
